This return and refund policy outlines the process for exchanges, refunds, and returns for all purchases made through Forteefied.com. Our return and refund policy is legally compliant and structured to protect both the buyer and our made-to-order streetwear brand.

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all return, exchange, and refund requests for purchases made on https://forteefied.com (“Website”), operated by Obsidira (OPC) Private Limited (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Forteefied”).

By placing an order, the customer (“You”, “User”, “Buyer”) agrees to abide by this Policy, which is strictly enforced to ensure compliance, prevent abuse, and protect the creative and logistical integrity of our made-to-order business model.

DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of this Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”), the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them below. These definitions shall apply uniformly throughout the Policy, and any capitalized term not otherwise defined herein shall have its plain and customary meaning in accordance with Indian contract and eCommerce law.

“Customer” / “Buyer” / “You” / “User”
Refers to any natural or legal person who places an order on https://forteefied.com (“Website”), whether for personal or commercial use, and includes the end recipient of the goods.

“Product(s)”
Means any apparel or merchandise item listed for sale and fulfilled via the Forteefied platform, including but not limited to T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and accessories, which are made-to-order and custom-printed.

“Defective Item”
Refers to a product that suffers from an inherent manufacturing or printing fault at the time of delivery, such as:
– misalignment or absence of design elements,
– poor stitching or damaged seams,
– visible ink bleeding or print distortion,
– incorrect or faded graphics, or
– any material defect impairing usability.
Damage caused post-delivery, through wear, washing, mishandling, or customer negligence, shall not qualify.

“Incorrect Item”
Refers to an item delivered to the customer that differs materially in size, design, color, or category from what was explicitly ordered and confirmed at checkout. Preference-based dissatisfaction or marginal visual differences due to screen calibration do not qualify.

“Damaged in Transit”
Refers to products that arrive with visible physical damage (e.g., torn packaging, crushed boxes, stained garments) attributable to logistical mishandling by third-party courier agents during shipment. Damage claims must be supported by immediate evidence, including external package condition and an uninterrupted unboxing video.

“One-Time Size Exchange”
A discretionary, non-renewable exchange granted once per product per order to allow a different size of the same item, subject to availability. This exchange is strictly limited to a single instance per order and is voided if:
– the customer selects an incorrect size again,
– the replacement size is unavailable, or
– the request falls outside the eligibility period.
No future exchange or refund for the same order item will be entertained thereafter.

“Unboxing Video”
A mandatory, continuous video recording starting prior to breaking the courier seal, clearly capturing:
– the unopened parcel,
– the entire process of opening the package,
– removal of the product, and
– visibility of the defect, damage, or incorrectness.
Edited, cut, obscured, or restarted videos shall be deemed inadmissible.

“Original Packaging”
Refers to all materials delivered with the product, including:
– polybags, tissue wrap, and sleeves,
– hang tags and barcode stickers,
– inserts, garment labels, and care tags, and
– invoice or packing slip (if included).
Returns without all original packaging components shall be automatically rejected.

“Return Window”
The fixed five (7) calendar day period following successful delivery (as verified by the shipping provider’s tracking data), during which return, exchange, or refund requests may be initiated. Requests outside this window are per se invalid and non-negotiable.

“Store Credit”
An optional credit voucher issued at the sole discretion of Forteefied in lieu of a refund, valid for six (6) months from issuance, redeemable exclusively on https://forteefied.com, subject to exclusions for limited edition or clearance items.

“Final Decision”
Refers to Forteefied’s unilateral and binding authority to accept or reject any return, exchange, or refund claim after reviewing submitted evidence. No external negotiation, arbitration, or appeal shall apply except as permitted under applicable Indian consumer law.



1. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

All Forteefied products are custom-printed and made to order. Accordingly, we adopt a zero-tolerance policy for arbitrary returns while upholding fair practices under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Non-Returnable Circumstances

We do not accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse

  • Discrepancies between user expectation and product images (style, color, etc.)

  • Incorrect size ordered by customer (refer to “One-Time Size Exchange” clause)

  • Delays caused by courier services or external logistics providers

  • Products that have been worn, washed, used, stained, or damaged post-delivery

  • Returns initiated after the defined window period

Return / Replacement Is Permitted ONLY If:

  • The product delivered is defective (e.g., misprints, stitching errors, manufacturing flaws)

  • A completely incorrect item, size, or design was sent

  • The product was damaged in transit and supported by verifiable evidence


2. ONE-TIME SIZE EXCHANGE POLICY

As a courtesy, we offer a lifetime one-time size exchange per order. The following terms apply:

  • Exchange must be initiated within 7 calendar days from delivery date.

  • Exchange is permitted only once per product per order, regardless of subsequent fit issues.

  • Exchange is subject to size availability. If unavailable, a store credit or refund may be offered at our sole discretion.

  • Accurate size charts are provided on every product page. It is the customer’s responsibility to consult these before ordering.

  • Subsequent requests for exchange or refund on the same item will be automatically rejected.


3. MANDATORY EVIDENCE REQUIREMENTS

To prevent fraudulent or invalid claims, the following documentation is strictly mandatory for any return, exchange, or refund to be considered:

  • Unboxing video: A full, uncut, continuous video capturing the product being unsealed and opened is required. The unboxing video must begin before opening the outer packaging and clearly capture the entire process from sealed package to product reveal, without any interruptions, edits, or overlays.

  • Clear photographs: High-resolution images of the defect/damage, size mismatch, or incorrect delivery.

  • Original packaging: Tags, barcode labels, inserts, hang tags, tissue paper, polybag, and box content must be preserved.

Failure to submit the above will result in automatic rejection of the claim.

Additionally, the burden of proof in all return, exchange, or refund claims lies solely with the customer. Any failure to produce the required documentation shall result in dismissal of the claim without further obligation from Forteefied.


4. TIMEFRAME FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE REQUESTS

All requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the delivery date, based on third-party courier tracking logs.

Requests Raised Beyond This Period Will Be Summarily Dismissed.

  • Order ID and registered name

  • Reason for return or exchange

  • Required proof (as listed above)

Our support team will acknowledge within 48 business hours. All eligible requests will be resolved within 3–5 business days from complete submission.


5. RETURN PROCESS

Upon approval, returns shall be handled as follows:

Pickup Procedure

  • Doorstep pickup will be arranged via an authorized logistics provider.

  • Pickup is only available at the original delivery address. Alternate locations must be pre-approved in writing.

  • Pickup attempts will be made once or twice. Failure to hand over the parcel during the agreed window will invalidate the return request.

Packaging Instructions

Returned items must be:

  • Packed in the original box and sleeves

  • Accompanied by all tags, inserts, labels, and invoice copy

  • In unused, unwashed, unaltered condition

  • Free of odors, stains, cosmetic marks, or any signs of tampering

Returns not meeting these packaging standards will be refused. All decisions taken by Forteefied’s support and quality assurance teams regarding eligibility, inspection outcome, and approval/rejection of returns shall be final and binding.


6. RETURN SHIPPING POLICY

Forteefied shall bear the complete shipping and logistics costs associated with all eligible and approved return or exchange cases, including:

  • One-time size exchange per order (as detailed under heading no. 2 above)

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect products where claims are duly supported with required evidence

No return request shall be processed unless it falls within the strict eligibility and documentation criteria outlined in this Policy. Therefore, under no circumstance shall a customer be charged for return pickup or re-shipment for any approved claim.

Customers are not permitted to self-ship any items unless explicitly instructed in writing by Forteefied. Unauthorized self-shipments will not be accepted, reimbursed, or processed under any condition.

As Forteefied does not permit returns for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, or second-time size exchanges, there exists no valid scenario where a customer shall bear any shipping cost related to returns or exchanges. Ineligible return requests will not proceed to the logistics stage and shall be summarily rejected at the verification phase.

All approved logistics shall be handled exclusively by Forteefied’s designated third-party fulfillment partner, and pickups shall occur at the delivery address associated with the original order unless otherwise authorized.

No verbal or telephonic assurances or representations shall be considered valid unless confirmed in writing via official email from helpdesk@forteefied.com.


7. REFUND PROCESS

Refunds will be issued only:

  • After receiving the returned product

  • Upon passing quality inspection

  • Within 7–10 business days

  • To the original payment method (Card/UPI/Razorpay)

Items returned in violation of this policy or failing inspection shall not be refunded under any circumstances. If the customer wishes to reclaim the item, reshipping charges must be paid in full within 7 calendar days of notification, failing which Forteefied reserves the right to dispose of the product.


8. STORE CREDIT OPTION

In lieu of a refund, customers may request Store Credit, valid for 6 months, redeemable sitewide (excluding limited edition items).


9. REPLACEMENTS & EXCHANGES

Subject to availability and valid cause, Forteefied may offer:

  • Replacement of defective or incorrect item

  • Size exchange (first-time only)

If the replacement is unavailable, store credit or a full refund may be offered at our sole discretion.


10. ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders may be cancelled within 6 hours of placement provided they haven’t entered print/dispatch stage.

To request cancellation, email: helpdesk@forteefied.com with:

  • Order ID

  • Reason for cancellation

Beyond 6 hours, cancellations will not be entertained.


11. NON-RETURNABLE CONDITIONS

Returns will be denied if:

  • The item was already exchanged once

  • The product shows signs of usage

  • Tags and packaging are missing or damaged

  • Unboxing video and issue-specific proof were not submitted

  • Pickup failed or customer refused pickup

  • The item is deemed fraudulent or tampered during inspection

All rejected returns are final. We are not obligated to reship or refund.


12. LEGAL CLAUSE & GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India, specifically under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Customers may escalate unresolved issues to:
